It is funny how one can be so busy, going in thirty directions and yet have nothing to write. That's me
Most of this week has been dealing with an incredible headache and feeling rough. One thing about this home no matter how sick you are there is no down time. Still things to be done. No naps for this family! So if you don't sleep the night before we just deal with it until bed time the next night. No idol time for us. On that note I so could go to bed.
I have been making Bath bombs. You can find those on the web site at http://www.petitcreeklavender.com
I had a order for one hundred lavender bombs. Plus an order for Black cherry. So this is keeping me busy.
I have been making up the new subscription envelopes. If you would like to join us I will be putting up the write up about what you get and how to go about signing up. I absolutely love making up these. So much fun, so much thought and creativity goes into each mailing.
They will be ready to go out within the next two weeks.
We are in full hockey mode of play offs. I can not wait until hockey is over.
We have been practice driving with our middle son, driving test March 28th.
We have been to school meetings.
Many things have been going about. I am crocheting the cloths for the web site every time I am at hockey or waiting for the school bus. You can find those on the web site. http://www.petitcreeklavender.com

For daily Inspiration and fun you can go to face book and go to the search at the top and type in Petit Creek Lavender and click the like button on the top of the page and join us. We would love to have you.
Many wonderful flavours of soap are also on the web site check it out. I think you will really like the soap.
I am also thinking it is time to start thinking about ordering Lavender plants. How many? How much can I spend? When wold be a good time?
Have wonderful day. Take care

Peace, Angels, and Lavender

Oh my goodness I have been so busy, it was Wednesday when I wrote the last post.
The days have an amazing way of going without me.
Planting, painting, harvesting and farm chores that is what my week has been.
Yesterday I planted some baby lavenders. I hope they grow strong and produce many, many purple flowers.

Today we decorated our dinner with Lavender. We had our wonderful French table cloth out. I bought this beautiful table cloth from Narmata Lavender farm. www.forestgreenman.com Go check out their web site. Leave a message and tell Karoline I sent you for a visit.
We had fresh lavender on the table and a beautiful long bread holder with a french loaf in it. Our two roast beefs were coated with wonderful Maui sea salt and amazing Herbs DE Provence. They were very good. Plus the usual mashed potatoes, my mom's amazing gravy, creamed carrots, Asparagus, broccoli and amazing selection of desserts.
My daughter cooked all day and our house warmed up, it was so hot.
Have a very pleasant Sunday evening.

Ahh yes we have Lavender.
Beautiful, sweet smelling Lavender.
Some of our plant are really nice if all had made it this last winter it would be so amazing beautiful.
So we will just enjoy every single flower we get.
My new project this summer is the last bit in the little lavender house I will work on the wall and mosaic the floor. No rush as long as it is done by September.

Lavender planting day.
I only have a few plants to put in. I had the opportunity to pick up some more Lavender but it is a ways to travel. And with my husband on so many road trips it I have not asked to go yet. I am so crossing my fingers I get a chance to visit other farms this summer.
I dream of one day having Lavender like other farms. However I am not sure our weather shares the same dream of me.
So off to start the day, dream big, plan, and scheme.

Beautiful Roses are picked daily on the farm for our own WONDERFUL potpourri. They are amazing.
Even more amazing is that I pick the larger rose bushes everyday and every morning there waits glorious roses just waiting to greet me.

Yesterday I harvested a little Lavender.
 It is a little bit.
We do not compare to any other Lavender farms. We do not have fields and fields just gardens. It wouldn't seem right to  plow up the hay fields to make Lavender. Oh even though I dream of it.
That would mean cutting right down to next to no livestock. I would need help that would mean hire someone.
And, I really need to figure out how to winter the Lavender better. We really have too much loss.
Still one can dream...And, DREAM I will
I think today I will go bug my Dad for his rototiller. Then dig some edges then I can plant a few more plants.
