I have figured out where I will plant my Lavender. My Dad is going to plow me up a spot then it will have to be worked on. The transplants still need time to grow some good roots and get a bit stronger. I do hope to have them in the ground by the end of July so they have time to get attached to our ground and make a good root system all before winter. We are still getting through our last few days of school. I can not wait until the kids can play, sleep in, swim and just have fun. Soon tomorrow is the last day.

Sorry it has been a few days since I posted. However with the picture you can tell we have been busy. My middle daughter and third child to graduate. Three down three to go. It went well, it is exhausting though. On top of all of it my husband is having a horrible time with his allergies. So that leads us to not too much sleep around here.
On the Lavender end I have a load of Lavender to plant and not sure where to do it. So during this next week I have to come up with a place and start working the ground. Hmmm sounds like a lot of work.

The last of the Lavender has been transplanted so that is a relief. Some of the plants were not in very good shape so we will see how they turn out. Half of the floor has been tiled it is slow going as I have been so busy.

This is how the Lavender arrived. The first trays that came where not in as good of shape as the second set of trays. The second set was also holding bigger plants. I have one more tray to transplant. I had to quit the other night because when I was working in the green house I backed over and stepped on the hose and soaked myself. I was so cold I had to quit and come in.

I have half way planted my Lavender. I have ran out of soil. I think I will be able to get it all done this weekend. I have one corner left to tile which I will do in the morning. Then I will leave it for a day and I should be able to grout it all on Sunday. Then starting on Monday I have to get myself in Grad mode. Our middle daughter is graduating with honours she will be sporting a lovely gold cord. We are having a dinner for her on Thursday.

By Sunday I hope to have all my Lavender transplanted but I have so many projects on the go I am not sure if I am going to get the plants finished. I am also hoping to get my little house tiled and grouted this weekend. So I should head to bed so I can continue at this fast pace.

So much work ahead of me. I did transplant a few today and I hope to get on to that job this week. Once this lavender is in the ground I don't think I will need to buy anymore. I can just sit back and watch it grow then bloom. Oh and weed it.

Can you guess what came in...125 very wonderful Lavender plants. I am looking at a lot of work in the next few days. However the painting in the house has to be finished first. Then I can get the planting done.

Last summer my friend and I went to the Kelowna Lavender farm. What a wonderful place. We hope to go again this summer. We also stayed in an amazing bed and breakfast. I do hope we can take the time and go on that trip again. I think I should start saving so I in the hot summer.
I am painting my office a new colour. The colour is French Lavender Grey. I hope I like it. My family is not too sure right now. It will grow on them. I can only paint half at a time as I have a huge desk to move.
My Dad is waiting patiently for my Lavender to flower. He keeps telling me "I think you are wasting your time I can't smell anything yet" Soon very, very soon we will be sitting in the garden drinking Lavender Lemonade.

Yesterday I could not get on to the blogs to post. I hope you all had an amazing weekend. Mine was full and busy but oh so much was accomplished. As I was weeding tonight I saw a few of my plants are in bud. Yeah I am so excited. My Lavender I ordered is on route I am also very excited about that. I thought it was MIA...
I have so much Inspiration, so many Dreams just need a lottery win. All of my ideas take a lot of hard work and I must be careful I don't take on too much as there is only me to do it.
Well I am off to Dream have a wonderful night.

I am thinking of planting Lavender that is out of our zone as an annual. I would only get one harvest but I would get to see the difference in a few different types of Lavender.I have seeds that are up but not even an inch high. I wonder if they will amount to anything this year?

With several different types of Lavender seeds planted now in the Greenhouse, it will be interesting to see if the seed actually germinate. I actually feel it is a bit late for us. Even though the weather is awful and it has not really warmed up our summers are actually quite short. We can already be receiving frost in September so that leaves us three to three and half months of growing. Our weather can be quite intense our heat can come fast and hot then only to be cool again.
