Last evening I used the time outside to work on the garden room. My youngest son and I hung the Sun and Moons on the wall a perfect Solstice evening.
We built an Arch out of cedar (okay one side is crooked but if you could see what we have to work with) vines planted, roses added and fence post dug in for the grapes. We just need to add the wire to help string the vines up.
As soon as you walk into the garden as sense of Peace comes over you ~ maybe one day you will visit and feel Peace.
I hope your day is full of blessings please take time to enjoy Mother Earth on this summer solstice, aboriginal day and first day of summer.

The lavender is closer to flowering within a few weeks the gardens will begin to show purple. It is starting slowly everyday a bit more a little like magic. The gardens are starting to show colour starting to burst with pride.

Today I have been harvesting roses beautiful, silky rose petals and today's harvest is to go into jelly sweet, decadent rose jelly.

The chamomile is also ready to harvest the sweet, relaxing chamomile. It never fails to amaze me how much the gardens have to offer.

The lilacs nearing their finish I have a cauldron full of sweet lilac water waiting to be made into lilac jelly.

Off to harvest on this wonderful day

Hard to believe it is June first I can not believe how fast the months are going by.
The gardens are doing well and in spite of our not so great weather the lavender is starting to show little bits of purple.
My main goal the last month has been finishing up the new garden it has been a battle this was my last chance to fix it or take it out.
I have nearly all the row planted then it will be weeding and babying the plants.
I am sure I will loose some but cross your fingers they take.
