Do you want to cry with me...

This is what I found in the gardens while I was working in them. I knew our weather was crazy and I knew it has jumped up and down and I knew it has snowed then melted and I knew we had a load of rain but damn so many damaged plants.

Some are totally flattened, some are brown there is some green but it will be like starting over on some of these plants. A few of the gardens are okay. I do blame the winter but also we had a horrible spell in the late hot, hot summer when our well quit. A full week of now water did not help.

However do not fear the weeds are thriving do you see the lovely thick green weed I am sure he will make it just fine.

Lavender Wedding

I have been working on putting together some information of the lavender we offer for weddings. It is very easy to add lavender to your setting and decorations.
Lavender fits in for elegant, rustic, vintage and all seasons.
You can add a simple sprig to your table setting or you can do full out lavender decorating.

It is natural and the nice thing about using lavender is when you are done wedding is over guest go home you can simply give it to your guest, add it back to nature or dry it for memories as it dries to it's true natural colours.
It is so wonderful how lavender holds it's colour.
I will be adding to the post here on Petit Creek Lavender on the next while on adding lavender to your wedding.

The lavender house is all tidied up. I was going to rearrange it but I quite like it the way it is.
It was nice to be out in it with the fire going heater on and music playing in the back ground.
There are some new books in the house, new aprons and shirts and some nice lavender wreaths.

The lavender wreaths dry true to their colour. If they are made with nice tight buds they will hold their shape for a very long time.

The green lavender wreaths are nice also they have a very pleasant aroma and hold their shape also for a very long time. I really like this different look to the wreaths. We offer both here at the farm for your home, business and great for weddings.
