Debating to do a web site or not to do a web site. I am thinking only fear is stopping me. I am finding this a very hard decision.

I just took a quick walk through the Lavender and it is all tucked in nicely. Right now it is still covered in snow but it is taking a beating from the down pour of rain. I miss working in my little Lavender house. The little house has such wonderful energy. I love it.

I have not done much on this blog but all is well. Life has a funny way of over taking and we are in a full swing of a busy life. The Lavender is sleeping under a coating of white fluffy snow. We are praying that its roots have dug in deep and are nestled down for a good rest. We hope the little lavender plants will be ready to jump forward with Spring. Our weather today is a sunny cold -23.

Lavender day are going quietly. Soon the plants will all be resting. The sunflowers have finally opened late very, very late. I imagine when I pull them out they will leave a large hole from their roots. I did a quick run to Kamloops on Friday to have a very quick visit with my friend. She has a wonderful new sewing machine and she did a bit of sewing for me. So I need to get everything up and rolling very soon.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Take time to make amazing memories.

The flowers along the walk way into the new Lavender garden are still very beautiful. There are many, many pine needles. I thought of raking the pine needles but I have been thinking they will add some extra protection in the winter with the frost, snow and wind. I need to go out and do some fall weeding. I hope to after this weekend and hopefully it will be the last weeding. I think I keep saying that!!
Well I hope you all have wonderful Lavender dreams, I know I will. I sleep with a wonderful Lavender pillow every night.

Fall has found us. We are full speed ahead to the colder months. It seems it has been quite crazy here so much running around. The pine needles are falling with great abundance. And, that means raking lots and lots of raking. The grass and weeds are still growing I don't think they will ever quit. The lavender is still having a few blooms here and there.

Oh my goodness the pine needles are falling...falling and cover the whole of the Lavender gardens. And, do you know what that means. Work piles and piles of work. I unplugged the water fountain's today but I am not quite ready to roll up the hoses yet. There is still a few plants trying to bloom which is really quite amazing. I had my daughter  Miss Hyacinth weed one of the gardens today.
Well I must run tomorrow is the start of another full week. Have wonderful Lavender thoughts.

This week I have been doing some weeding amazing how the grass can still grow. I am not sure if I am going to win on the new garden. The weeds really are relentless. I have been working on products for the web site. Sorting, weighing and trying to figure out the next step.
The snow has landed in the mountains above us. Oh my goodness it is just way too soon.
The table setting above was from our French dinner. We had fresh Lavender. Hidecot Lavender is quite amazing it blooms so late in the season. It is quite a treat to go out to the garden and find a nice bouquet.

More products have been in the making. I have had to put any serious work on the back burner until school settles and my girls head off on their vacation. I have received my business cards in the mail which was very exciting. I have had to water on and off here. Even though fall has hit hard some of the areas are quite dry.

Lavender Milk Bath.

This is a wonderful milk bath bag that is thrown into the tub to give a wonderful relaxing bath.

Slowly moving ahead with our products. Sometimes I seem to walk around in circles not knowing where to start. I can spend half the day and only have a few things accomplished.
We made it through our first week of school. It was a rough week for our work break downs and too wet to haul.
The lavender in the new garden seems to be growing well. I can actually see the growth. I imagine we will have to do a bit more weeding. We can see new grass and new weeds coming up fresh will all this rain.
I hope everyone has wonderful Lavender dreams tonight

A hazy Dream

I did a bit of weeding tonight and the air is cold and the wind is cold. I am guessing the growing season is coming to an end. Today I found a wholesale place that sells bags very close to home so that is a very good find.
I do need to get to work and finish some things up. Have a wonderful evening.

Ahh the sweet smell of Lavender. My house has the most amazing aroma floating through it today. We have been busy, busy, busy. Soap experimenting is happening. Lavender bath crystals packaged up. The most amazing french Lavender essential oil that we brought in is incredible. Wonder absolutely wonderful.
Our weather has definitely changed. Cool rain, thunder ,dark skies. AS dark and gray as it is when you go to work outside you have to take your layers off. Lets hope this rain is giving those baby Lavender plants good strong roots.

Weed barrier is laid in the new garden that was determined to grow into a hay field. A few more plants were planted and that will put us at six hundred and eighty eight. I still have quite a few Lavender plants in pots that really should go in the ground before winter. All three lavender gardens were weeded so we are managing to keep up. It will be spring time when it will test us.
The web site is moving along. Funny thing a web site you type and type all day think and think some more to be clever. Then when you check back it is not even a paragraph.
I also notice everything has a price tag every step adds more money onto the web site.
This morning it was hardly 4 above way too cold. Tonight I was weeding in a hail storm and moving hay in a rain storm. Crazy weather
We have been seeing bears around now. Tonight the animals were acting pretty spooked.

This is also one of the pictures I am using on our new web site. This picture was taken on my door step with the lavender in a flower pot.
I have been spending the last few evenings working on the web site. There is quite a lot of things to do and try to make it sound right. Way more work than one thinks.
It is a gamble will I sell anything? Should I go through all the steps? Am I just scared?

This is one of the pictures I will be using for our new web site. A very pretty picture that was taken by my friend Nickie. It looks a lot like a painting doesn't it.

Today was used up by the usual chores. I did however make quite a bit of soap and I tried a different way so lets hope it works. I also harvested my herbs, washed and ready to dry. Then I will blend it into a wonderful Herbs De Provence Mix. I did not have to do any watering as it was still quite wet from all our rain yesterday. I have been working on a write up for my web site. Hard to get it just right.

This morning I was awake before four am and so could not sleep. So I was checking the Internet on ideas for my web site. I really would like to purchase a Distiller with in the next year. I have been researching them and I think I have found one I like. One that would do the job for us and that I could afford. I had Miss Hyacinth count our Lavender plants and we are at six hundred and seventy six but I do know we have a few more but we didn't count them. I still have some I need to put in the ground I just have run out of room. However in these gardens if we have winter kill this year I won't replace them as some of them are too close together. I did not plant them to spread out as I have to do all the work by myself and by hand. I now need to work on my Dad for a small chunk of hay field. However he does not come home from his holiday I have been eyeing up his garden it would be perfect. :)
